Built in the 16th century by Rao Shakti Singh Ji, the younger
brother of the great patriot Maharana Pratap, the chevalier of
this strategic fort have fought many fierce battles of historical
importance against the Moguls and Marathas. Amid the serene
Vindhyachal ranges, Castle Bijaipur provides accommodation in 23
simple traditional rooms and suites, with attached bath, running
hot and cold water.
